Personal Training
People ask, "why would you use a personal trainer to exercise?" There are many reasons to engage the services of Personal Trainers for your exercising program but there are three most essential ones. The first reason to hire a Personal Trainer is to ensure safety while performing all exercises throughout your Training Program.
The second reason to hire a Personal Trainer is to monitor your form to make sure it is correct while performing all exercises. Proper form will enable the proper development of the muscle groups that you are exercising, to their fullest capacity.
The third reason to hire a Personal Trainer is to obtain the proper motivation when you are exercising and throughout your entire experience with the Personal Trainer, to make sure you achieve your goals.
Most people go on diets that help them lose weight but it does not provide for muscle retention. A personal trainer can assist you in optimizing fat loss which will reduce high blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
People who want to get into fitness for the first time benefit from the use of personal trainers for all of the above reasons.
Individuals who wish to increase lean muscle mass or fat loss for bodybuilding shows engage the services of personal trainers to insure results.
There are numerous reasons to use personal trainers but one important and final reason is: people are driven by appointments and these people want to be healthy; so fitness is another appointment!

Types of Training Sessions
1-1 Training One on one training is the best form of training but costs a little more for the individual attention. However, you can save money in reducing the time that you workout with your trainer from 60 to 45 or even power 1/2 hour workouts.
Group Training(Semi Private) Groups range from 2-5 people and can lower the cost of training by as much as fifty percent and offer team camaraderie. Some people really like to workout in a group atmosphere.
Boot camps This type of training is a larger group of 6-12 and can be very effective at targeting large groups of co-workers from a company to groups formed at the gym. We also do sports specific Boot camps in summer for youth sports.
Certifications
There are literally hundreds of different so called 'personal trainer' certifications available. The National Organization for Competency Assurance (noca.org) originally created the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) to oversee medical certifications such as nurse practitioners, etc. When they began accrediting personal trainer certifications, they originally approved only five (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA, and the Cooper Institute). They have since expanded their list to include only 4 others out of the hundreds that are currently out there.
"The NCCA helps to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of the public through the accreditation of a variety of certification programs/organizations that assess professional competency."
